Nature

Nature fascinates me.
Just the name brings me home.
It represents all things free
With beauty as far as the eye can roam.

I wonder what she thinks
When shes alone and pure.
So many mazes; so many links
The circle of lifes majestic tour.

Being alone with her tonight
Fills my heart to the brim.
Though theres little warmth or light,
Us together make this dream.

How weve corrupted her
And sent her into despair.
We find our lives a sketchy blur
And within our eyes a bitter stare.

She loves us still
Despite all our pain
From Gods fountain hill
To the skys rocky rain.
