| I hope you all are enjoying these great memories from the Golden Days of FREE RADIO. I know those days have gone forever, but it's still great to hear all those crazy radio daft DJs roughing it out on a gigantic North Sea swell. Radio is so drab nowadays, no originality, no excitement of the old tender banging on the side of the ship. No sea sick and unwashed jocks playing great selections of all sorts of music. How I wish someone would put a bit of life back into British Radio, by putting a bloody big ship back into the North Sea and once again give REAL RADIO Listeners what they so desparately want. This generation would be as excited as I was way back in the 60s, hearing practically commercial free music, without those totally innane Government messages as played over and over and over again on ILR stations, you would think they were trying to brainwash the kids or something. Is it a dream? Probably, but what the hell, if it wasn't for dreams and aspirations where would we be?. |
