BRAND NEW AUDIO FILES
A guy who used the name of Graham Kay in 1974 on Caroline/Mi Amigo 259.  He is renouned for being one of the worst DJs Caroline ever had, he was so bad he had a cult following. listen to 3 of the best and cringe man.
Another voice from the heady days of the late 70s on Caroline, here is Stuart Russel, later to be re-incarnated as Nigel Harris on Caroline in the 80s.  He is one of the longest serving of all Caroline jocks, he deserves a medal for all the rough nights (and days) on both the Mi Amigo and the Ross Revenge.  He stayed with the real Radio Caroline till November 1990, when sadly the money and probably the heart of Radio Caroline just gave up.
I hope you all are enjoying these great memories from the Golden Days of FREE RADIO.  I know those days have gone forever, but it's still great to hear all those crazy radio daft DJs roughing it out on a gigantic North Sea swell.  Radio is so drab nowadays, no originality, no excitement of the old tender banging on the side of the ship.  No sea sick and unwashed jocks playing great selections of all sorts of music.  How I wish someone would put a bit of life back into British Radio, by putting a bloody big ship back into the North Sea and once again give REAL RADIO Listeners what they so desparately want.  This generation would be as excited as I was way back in the 60s, hearing practically commercial free music, without those totally innane Government messages as played over and over and over again on ILR stations, you would think they were trying to brainwash the kids or something.  Is it a dream? Probably, but what the hell, if it wasn't for dreams and aspirations where would we be?.
