Truth: Sultaana Wears Kohl (Eye Liner only)... and she does it as an Islamic tradition of Muhammad Sultaana Freeman does not wear "eye makeup". She does not wear eye shadow, pluck her eyebrows, or do anything except wear kohl, which is an act from the Sunnah (traditions of Muhammad) for either men or women. One cannot compare a single line of black kohl around the eyes with the non-Muslim version of makeup. Kohl is generally permissable, is believed to have medicinal purposes and is also commonly used before going to battle. Islam specifically indicates that the wearing of kohl is permissible except when mourning; therefore, it is Islamically prohibited to criticize a Muslim for wearing it or to assume bad intentions in wearing it without evidence.
