The Beginning

My life began one foggy morning
on the northern coast.
Birth of waiting
Birth of wanting
A birth of spirit and soul
to flesh and blood.
recall and memories
adrift on the waters' edge.
green mist engulf me
to tear apart, limb from limb
the deepest parts of me
Rambling on a vague idea
to discover
yet then to uncover
by digging away
at paper
with pen
