Nobel Speech

by Karen A. Freeman

My dear friends and associates, I stand here before you today to accept one of the most prestigious awards in science. I want to thank all of you for helping me to achieve this goal. My invention has brought peace to this troubled world at last. It has put an end to war and discontent for all time. None of this would be possible without your help. You are the real winners. You are the ones who will not have to struggle through a life of fear. Once again, thank you for this illustrious gift you have bestowed upon me.

"Okay, doctor, you can push the button that makes them clap. I'm finished now."
