I came up with the idea for "Toddler Magic" when I noticed that my 2 year old got more excited about screen savers than some of the commercial software for toddlers. Since he wasn't quite ready to count baloons, or play "hide & seek" I created a simple game that rewards him for using the mouse and keyboard. This game is played in a full-screen version to limit access to other programs. (You can exit anytime by hitting "esc" key.) The keys on the keyboard will play musical notes. Moving the mouse causes random shapes to draw and clicking the mouse begins a "new" drawing with a random color background. I'm distributing "Toddler Magic" as freeware. That means you can download the program, install it, share it with your friends, etc. It also means that there is no technical support. It's been tested on Windows ME and seems to work fine there, but may have problems (particularly with the sound) on other versions of Windows. | ||
