August 20, at Tomball Hospital in Tomball, Texas.BURIAL: Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 23, at
Warren Meadows Chapel, with interment following at Ft. Jesup
Cemetery. The Rev. Glenn Flenniken officiated. Survivors include
his widow of 50 years, Rosalee Rhodes of Magnolia, Texas; four
sons, Carroll Rhodes, Johnny Rhodes and wife Sue, and Robin
Rhodes, all of Houston, Texas, and Leslie Rhodes and wife Sue of
Keatchie; one daughter, Cindy Hogan of Houston, Texas; one
sister, Opel Russell of Shreveport; two brothers, Hollis Rhodes
of Shreveport, and Ray Rhodes of Whittier, Calif.; 10
grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and

13 Sep 1995 - Sylvia Cordelia Addison, age 90, passed away Sept. 8 at IHS # in 1, Many.
1 in Many. She is survived by a daughter, Vesta Eileen Lombard of Florien, a grandson, Neil Addison of Plano, Texas, two great grandchildren, Carrie and Vaughn Addison of Plano, Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sylvia Addison was preceded in death by her husband, George Addison, two sisters, and six brothers.
Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m. with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Larry DeLoach officiating.

Funeral services for George W. Addison, 75, of Mt. Carmel, were held in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Monday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. Officiating were the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Truman Leach. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Mr. Addison died at Fraser Hospital - South, on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m., following an extended illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sylvia Addison of Mt. Carmel; one son, George N. Addison of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Lombard of Mt. Carmel; one sister, Mrs. J. Ludd Leach of Shreveport; one grandson; and one great granddaughter.

Services for Clifford Artis Ricks, 67, of Boyce, were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, in Boyce First Baptist Church, with the Rev. W. H. Efferson officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Hixson Bros.
Ricks died at 5 a.m., Monday, in Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport. He was a retired teacher in industrial arts at Boyce High School, and Alexandria Trade School. He was a retired Baptist minister, and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne C. Ricks of Boyce; one son, Gene W. Ricks of Houston; four daughters, Sue Bordeaux, and Betty Vaughn, both of Alexandria, Karen Ricks of Boyce, and Janice
Breaux of Opelousas; three brothers, William Ricks of Nederland, Texas, Marcus Ricks of Port Arthur, Texas, and Cannon Ricks of Florien; one sister, Sylvian Addison of Florien; 11 grandchildren.
