Rhoades, 86 years of age . . . farmer of this community died at Bower in Pittsburg county, a few miles
south of Eufaula Thursday of last week. Funeral services conducted by the Kelley Funeral home . . . were
held at the Bower school building Friday. Burial was in the Bower cemetery. Survivors include a son,
Walter Rhoades of near Fame and a number of grandchildren and other relatives
Died of " consumption". Delia is buried beside 2 of her children in Harmony Cemetery, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. She was 29 years old.

Reppy Belle Rhodes was a retired school teacher having taught in the Caddo Parish schools from 1922 to 1963' and including 32 years at Byrd High School.
She held the bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University, and the master's degree from the University of Texas.
Miss Rhodes was a member of Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa, honorary teachers sorority; Magnolia Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Womens Department Club.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport.
Survivors are one brother James A. Rhodes of New Iberia, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Old Cedron Cemetery near Vowells Mill.
Pallbearers will be Charles Ravenna, Wayne Hollingsworth, Jonathan Wallace, Ford Wallace Jr., Richard V. Muckleroy 111, and Miles Biggs.

James L. Rhodes, 77, of Marthaville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 23,
at 7:30 p.m., as the result of an automobile accident.Rhodes is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Conly Rains, Florien,
Mrs. Lela Dietel, Kenner, La.; three brothers, Fletcher Rhodes,
Negreet, Will Rhodes Oakland, Calif.; and Peace Rhodes, Corpus
Christi, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Palmire Melder, Bernice; 8
grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted at the Warren Meadows funeral
Home on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes
officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
