Confederate Pensioners.

The following is the list of Confederate pensioners whose applications
have been approved by the Board of Commissioners, and whose names are
enrolled as pensioners of the State of Louisiana. Class 1 are to
receive $6 per month, class 2 will receive $5 per month, and class 3
will receive $4 per month. The board relies upon the honor of
ex-Confederate soldiers for aid in purging the list of unworthy
material, so that it may be indeed a "Roll of Honor," in which every
citizen can take just pride:
