This one was composed by me when I was in 10th class and was about to appear for my board exams. This was essentialy my first poem.
Although this one has'nt exactly been my favourite but as it is the first one i wrote,so i am quite emotional about this one.
Who dreamt of crossing the seas,
But then, he remembered studies.
"Why, oh Why..??"cried his voice,
He didnt have any time to rejoice.
As exams were drawing near,
So, was everybody's fear.
He was not hungry,nor felt any pain,
But then he thought,what was he going to gain?
All sorts of thoughts came in his mind.
What was he going to find?
After going deep down in his books,
The things that gave him scary looks.
"This world is a mystery",he thought,
Cauz after all the battles he fought,
This was the toughest he ever sought.
He thought of the future and remembered his past,
Time was running away,he'd better study fast.
The glimpse told him everything he wanted to know.
Who would be his friend, and who, a foe.
His best friend, now in school,
After 20 years,where would he find this fool?
Where would he be if he didn't study,
Surely in a swamp all filhty and mnddy.
Its quite grose to even think about,
"Why am i going negative?",he thought.
He picked up hi book and said,
"oh! I've wasted my time,bloody..!!",
So what are YOU waiting for?,JUST GO AND STUDY.!!
