This is one of my favourite poems,mostly because I wrote it when I had broken up. Some lines in this poem capture the true essence of life. So i suggest you to read it properly.
I just hoped for luck until it was too late.
Realizing the follies I made in the past,
I want time to walk slow but it runs fast.
Suddenly a strange emotion fills my mind,
I feel like there is no friend I can find.
I can't weep with joy nor laugh with sorrow,
Can't dream of the future because there's no tomorrow.
This happens when you've lost someone dear,
When the simplest of matters doesen't seem clear.
This emotion curtails your every thought and dream,
It captured my soul,how cruel does it seem.
