Ukrainian Mushroom Chicken
what you need
250g chicken breasts, diced small
5 tbls butter
1 clove garlic
1 large onion
½ tsp ground nutmeg
½ c. Swiss cheese, grated
½ c. feta cheese crumbled
3 tbls sour cream or plain yoghurt
200g mushrooms
what you do
Chop the onion and mushrooms quite small. Fry them in 4 tbls of the butter until the
onion is soft and translucent. Add the finely chopped chicken and garlic and fry for 5
minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream/yoghurt
and nutmeg. Place the chicken mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with the grated cheeses.
Bake at 200o until the cheeses are golden brown.
