Natural Easter Egg Dyes
 

what you need

eggs - as many as desired
1/4 tsp vinegar
any or all of the following:
1 tsp turmeric - yellow
1 tbls instant coffee - brown
skin of 1 onion - orangey yellow
1/2 beetroot - reddish purple
1 spinach leaf - light green
1 red cabbage leaf - light brown
walnut shells - light brown
grape juice - purple

what you do

Wash the eggs with warm, soapy water to remove the oily coating that eggs can have.
Boil the eggs with the dye source for 10 minutes. When the eggs are cooked, add 
the vinegar. Stir briefly and drain.
