Date: 20/2/04 Question: What is the dream I had last night trying to tell me? Explanation: I had a dream that I became the first ever female professional AFL football player and was one of the most popular players. (In waking life I don't like football.) Cast: Interpretation: I think the fact that the querent stone landed off the mat signified that the cast involved a matter outside of real life and the unreality of the dream. The dream involved a new career , one in which the conservatism of a male-dominated field is overcome & by the signing of a contract . There are only few objections to this [facing away]. You sign and beocme committed . As a woman you are immediately accepted into a man's world & and you love your job and the adulation you receive. Your path is clear [ far away], but your choice leaves little room for creativity [ far away]. You gain much eventually . Later insights: I have to admit, I already had a fairly good idea of what I thought the dream meant (purely wishful thinking) and I just wanted an excuse to do a reading. I think the cast reflects this, in it only tells me what the dream was about, not what it means. The only clue it gives is from Gain , telling me that I do gain insights from my dreams.

Date: 06/10/99 Question: Should I make this change in my professional life? Explanation: I was considering whether to enrol in a new course and move in a different direction in my life. Cast: Interpretation: A. I am having serious doubts about my talents and I am not happy . Am I expected to act like a man and fulfill a man's role instead of a woman's ? B. I will be confused for some time about where I belong , how to make my money and in which direction to point my passions . C. A change (though not in the very near future) will lead to commitment and an outlet for my talents , though closely bound up with conflict . Face up to this though - do not avoid it. There will be benefits , however. Later insights: I did enrol in the new course, but did experience the doubts mentioned in the reading. The changes mentioned in section C have not yet come to pass.
