The sun shines
The clouds float by
The children’s laughter
Man’s rage
The rain falls
The rainbow appears
There is hope
Even though there is pain
The tears that fall
Are full of sorrowful joy
The joy is full of bitterness and pain
The happiness is of the reality
That every day is a brand new start to life
The life is the joy of the world
The sun is gone and the moon is out
The darkness hides the fears of one
The stars twinkle
The wolf howls
The owl hoots because it knows of what is out there
The coyote hunts
The children sleep
The dreams of untold fantasies
Unleash their deftly toll of life
Discovering what is what
and what is not
The fears are released
And the dream begins of the past
The past repeats itself as fears are uncovered
The running
The crying
The fantasies
The fear
All are intertwined in the world of dreams
Dreams and Reality

When I dream
I dream of what could be
When I wake up
I realize the reality
Surprising as it is
They can be linked very close
They depict the determination of my life’s goals
As my life’s goals are reached one by one
The trials of life are slowly won
The dreams of reality are to be the same.
Individuality is all that we have other than the Lord
Individuality makes us who we are.
If everyone was the same then this world would be very boring.
Not everyone likes individuality or like for someone to have a strong will
They usually like for people to obey what they say but I am not like that at all.. I know what is right and wrong. I know what I want in life that is why I have such a stubborn streak in me. I have my goals and I strive for them. No matter what anyone tells me that how much of a dreamer I am I still strive for them.. It is very difficult to admit defeat and I more than likely never will. I used to think I could please the whole world and I have come to realize that it is impossible to please the whole world for the world will never be pleased. The world's people have a hunger for power and wealth unfortunately. The people are very selfish and foolish not think to care for others but sometimes they
GIFT

Everyone has a gift or knack.
Which ever you wish to call it.
Everyone has one
But not everyone discovers their gift.
What is the gift?
The gift is the skill that the lord has given to you.
Usually the gift, if you find it, becomes a big part of your life and helps you determine your purpose of life.
My gift I am not sure of nor am I sure of my purpose.
I have many talents, but I am not sure which one is the gift.
Music is good for the soul.
Music is one skill that I am not lacking in.
Sometimes I wonder if that is my gift since I am suppose to carry on the Legacy of my grandfather and his music.
If Only Then Maybe I Would Be Happy

The madness of this world
I hear the children cry on the streets

But the reason for this Chaos is not
Another’s fault it is their own
For not knowing the Power of God
A baby’s laughter is so sweet and pure
It lightens the load of the world
It feels Joy
Which others cannot feel
It isn’t corrupted by the evils
It is still in the light of God
Which we sometimes lose sight of the Light
The Light of the Lord is the most divine
I see the Light and I see the Path
Which he has paved
I will travel this path with it’s bumps and dips
But never will I lose sight consciously
For he is the one who lives inside my heart
He is the Owner of my soul.
LIFE

Life is a trial and a play.
The audience is the lord and his angels.
He is the teacher of all.
He is the Heavenly Father.
He is the Counselor.
The unseen guest at every meal.
He is the silent listener to every conversation.
He is the director to every life, yet he lets us learn and live our own lives.
He is the advisor to every problem.
He is the one friend that is with you for forever and eternity.
He is the judge to your destiny.
The lord is the one who has a plan for everyone.
But he lets us choose our paths to our own destiny.
Be it good or bad with our own decisions.
He is the watcher over all.
Reaching for our Rainbows

In the past our lives were filled with hopes and dreams.
Nowadays we are reaching for our rainbows
Because our dreams are slowly becoming reality one by one.
The building blocks of success
Are slowly climbing to the top of our mountain
For five weeks we have survived another world.
The world of ASU
In the process of surviving we have learned many virtues.
The virtue of obedience
Self-discipline and honor.
We have gained many valuable contacts for when we return to this world.
The last week we bonded and built powerful relationships with one another.
Friendship lasts forever.
When we found ourselves in a dilema.
We immediately went to Buddy, Angela, Jesse, Cherraine, and Pedro.
The workshops and activities provided the resources we needed.
From Dr. Baca to the panel with the peer advisors.
Even though some of us had our differences
We worked through them without a scuffle
We learned to be a unified circle of hope.
In the future
We will remember this experience
We will keep our memories of pictionary
Our laughter and our sillinesses combined into one.
See you people later
I wanted to do something special but I knew not what to do
So I hope this will do
I have enjoyed this experience a whole lot
It helped me realize what I do want from life and where my rainbow is
All I need to do is grab the tiger by the tail and don't let go
I need to keep climbing that ladder even though I can't see my goal.
It sometimes feel like I am going down instead of up
But I continue and no matter what anyone says I keep going
Kinda like the Energizer Bunny I keep going and going
Till I have found that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
I wish you the best of luck and hopefully I will see you next year.

are the outcome of helplessness
We are aware of the
inevitable
Yet we do not wish to accept
what the outcome is to be
We wish we we could do something
instead of ourselves waiting

Too Wild To be Tamed

I have been told that I stand out like a thorn
They ask me why I have compassion
I just reply I am myself
I like to be my own person
Some people have a lack of compassion
Some people think of love as lust
I know of very few things
I will continue to climb that mountain
I reach for my dreams no matter what
My spirit is free as long as I am thus
I continue following the path
No matter what temptations lie ahead
I have been told that I could not do it
I proved them wrong
I succeeded at my task
I am too wild to be tamed
In the past there have been males
Who tried to break my spirit and pride
One of them hit me
The other one ignored me
The last one tried to tame but he failed
He tried to influence me to be like the others

In that process I lost my own self
