HAFA
ADAI! from Mesa,Arizona to all my fellow Chamoru, and CNMI Citizens. As a proud
person and being a Chamoru from the beautiful Chamoru Islands, I would like to
thank each and everyone on Gua'han and CNMI for not fleeing the islands because
of economic depression and low government funds.
I would like to ask Congresswoman Madeline Bordallo, if she can hold a meeting
in the up coming months about Uniting Guahan & CNMI as one whole U.S.
COMMONWEALTH or FREE ASSOCIATION. As me, being a Chamoru I believe Guahan and
CNMI Citizens who are Native Chamoru or have Chamoru blood in them should vote
for "Island Unity". We should unite GUA'HAN & CNMI once and for
all, call ourselves "HA'ANI" and not classify us as being from GUA'HAN
or being from CNMI, but being from "HA'ANI." I just think it would be
in our best interest if Congress passes an "Act of Island Unity",
which forever unites GUA'HAN & CNMI and our islands will never be divided
again. The U.S. should allow our Chamoru people to voice out our own opinions
and give our ideas of how we as Chamoru Islanders choose our own Political
Status with the United States of America, and its minor outlying U.S.
Territories.
Giving us the freedom of speech is one thing we learned from the Bill of Rights.
Because it allows us to speak on our own free will. And I hope soon that we the
people of the Ha'ani Islands sign a petition and a voting act of Island Unity,
which states that we are labeled Ha'anian Islanders and the U.S. will classify
us as being from "HA'ANI", which include Gua'han, Luta'i (Rota),
Tinai'I (Tinian), Sa'Ipanoa (Saipan), Anatahan, Alamagan, Pagan, Guguan,
Maganeni (Maug), Sari'gaha (Sarigan), Kanahi (Pajaros), Makaniha
(Medinilla), To'kale' (Agrihan), Gumanoa (Aguijan), Makanao (Asuncion), and
Ko'ku Island (Coco's Island) . Those islands need to change that i listed above
because of the Spanish influence.
"The sun may set, when the moon shines, but the sun will always rise for a
new day in HA'ANI"
