    We are always looking for new members of the CIA, so anyone who feels they have something important to say about Guam, Chamorro culture or the future of our people is encouraged. Feel free to submit anything that you feel will help educate others on Guam or in the states about the plight of the Chamorro people. Submissions can be in any form, whether a school paper, a poem, a short story, a letter to the editor, or just a rambling attack on something irritating you.

    You may submit written works by other authors, so long as you have their permission to publish it on the web. Nothing will be censored as far as content is concerned, however relevance is an issue. Only works that explicitly deal with Guam or Chamorro issues should be submitted.

    All works must be critical in nature. This doesn't mean intellectual, or academic, or even using foo foo language. It just means that the works must say something beyond the everyday platitudes and pieties that we get so used to hearing ourselves, that we end up just spouting them back out. Works submitted must ask questions, or discuss issues, and cannot merely rehash rhetoric.

    Here is an example of what will not be published (but I am publishing it, because this guy pissed us off, and he is a moron (the name he gave is Gene Codeht, and he is Chamorro!)

            I am deeply disturbed about your supposed facts (or the lack of).  I have studied histories of nations and cultures and your assumptions on history is way to the left. If you allowed any of the cultures of the world to freely leave their country and go to the country of their choice, guess where they will go?  That's right, the US. America has done so much to the world in terms of "aid", financial or otherwise.  Your narrow-minded approach is exactly what Angel Santos did to his culture.  I know of people who know him personally and thought he was an asshole who practiced domestic violence. Guam is blessed by America's involvement and to think otherwise is foolish and lacking intelligence.  

        Guam's biggest problem is not America...it's your Catholic Church that teaches you nothing.  Have you ever argued against Catholicism?  You should, because she has crippled our culture and have kept Chamorros blind from the truth.  You are the way you are because of your blindness to Godliness.  America has done more for Guam and Guamanians than Rome ever had; and she was around since 1521. You need to wake up and educate yourself first before you spout off at the mouth about meaningless nothings.

    The inherent problem with Mr. Codeht's arguments is that they lack any rational facilities. They lack any critique, any thought. They are the very essence of colonial propaganda. First there is the inferiority, then there is the dependency, then there is the subjective becoming a firm and masculine objective when we speak of our colonizer and our future/history. Its full of cognitive dissonance, its full of paranoid schizophrenia, everything that makes a great colonized subject! Notice even the position of Mr. Codeht when he speaks, it is as if he isn't Chamorro. That is the ultimate colonized persona, who massacres himself everytime he speaks.
