Chemotherapy is highly toxic and carcinogenic, which means it causes cancer.In the Handbook of Cancer Therapy, a standard refernce for medical personell it lists 16 safety procedures when dealing with these drugs. The nurse or doctor should wear disposable masks and gowns, eye goggles, and double latex gloves. Yet this product is injected directly into peoples blood stream. How effective is chemotherapy? Extremely limited. Hodgekins disease, childhood leukemia have responded well, albeit at a high cost in side-effects.

In 1975 the British Journal, Lancet, reported a study which compared the effect on cancer patients of;
1. A single Chemotherapy
2.Multiple Chemotherapy.
3. No treatment at all.
No treatment, quote, "proved a significantly better policy for patients' survival and for quality of remaining life."
In November 1985, Dr. John Cairns of the Harvard school of public health wrote in Scientific American that Chemotherapy was useful for only a few rare cancers. Quote;
"...A six-or twelve month course of Chemotherapy not only is a very unpleasant experience but also has its own intrinsic mortality...treatments now avert...perhaps two or three percent...of the 400,000 deaths from cancer that occur each year in the US."
Two to three percent, I wonder how many cancer suferers are given that statistic. How many people are given chemotherapy? Surprisingly there are no exact figures kept. But according to Ralph Moss in his book, Questioning Chemotherapy, in 1991 he estimated that at least 700,000 cancer patients received chemotherapy. How does the medical community justify giving hundreds of thousand of cancer sufferers Chemotherapy? Rigging and manipulating the�statistics is a favorite game of the Cancer Industry.
In1969 Professor Hardin Jones gave one example of how the majic numbers game was played.Let us say the oncologist was running a 90 day chemotherapy trial. If a patient dies on day 89 he is not counted because he didn't finish the treatment. But if there was a death at any time in the control or untreated group, this was counted as a failure of no treatment. The longer the trial, the larger the error.
Dr. Alan C. Nixon, past President of the American Chemical Society wrote,"
"As a chemist trained to interpret data, it is incomprehensible to me that physicians can ignore the clear evidence that chemotherapy does much, much more harm than good."

So why do doctors prescribe this highly toxic drug which has very questionable benefit for most cancers? Because they're hands are tied. Surgery, Radiation Treament or Chemotherapy. That's it. �I feel sorry for some oncologists. Many are trying their best while working within the very restrictive treatment options orthodox medicine has given them. On the other hand though, there are a good portion profiting from the large incentives offered by drug companies to peddle their chemicals.
The pharmaceutical companies are making a fortune though. Chemotherapy drug sales were 3.1 billion in 1989, by 1995 it had almost tripled to 8.6 billion. Predicted sales in1999 were 13.7 billion.
In the late 1970's, Senator Hubert Humphrey died of cancer, but not before chemotherapy had reduced him to a balding, feeble cancer victim. He described chemotherapy as quote, "bottled death."
That about sums it up. How many doctors would consider taking chemotherapy? Very few as it turns out.�See the link below.
