But her mother insisted on trying the Hoxsey method. Her cancer cleared up. Mildred worked as a nurse for Hoxsey and found out through her own experience that the treatment worked for some people, not everybody. But it doesn't damage the immune system, make you feel terrible and cause cancer as chemotherapy and radiation treatment do.
Orthodox medicine constantly tells us again and agian that all alternative treatments are worthless remedies peddled by quacks out to make a fast buck. I didn't see any Farrari's parked outside Mildreds Bio-Med clinic. She seemed to live very spartenly. Reknowned alternative cancer researcher Peter Barry Chowka knew Mildred for many years. Chowka had the highest regard for Mildred Nelson. As do the thousands of cancer patients who tell their friends and family about her. Who swear by her treatment. As Peter Chowka says below;

Who are the quacks, the late Mildred Nelson? Or oncologists charging a fortune for toxic, cancer causing chemicals which have failed for over 4 decades?
The fact that the NCI/ACS have never properly investigated the Hoxsey treatment in over 70 years of it's use in treating cancer is evidence enough that they have an agenda. Over 10,000 Americans are dying every week, the NCI should have been beating a path to her door. They should have been running tests on her patients. They don't do it, they don't do anything except lie, obfuscate the truth and malign good people.
