The Freedom Squad is an organization of heroes dedicated to the preservation of freedom and peace in Paragon City. Created to bring heroes together and to pool their resources in the battle against villainy, the Freedom Squad works directly with Paragon City and the Freedom Corps to best coordinate our heroic efforts.
To become a member of the Freedom Squad requires the deepest commitment, the most serious mind, and two forms of photo-ID.
Headquartered in an unassuming store front in Kings Row, we may look small � but we�re looking to make a big difference! |

These are members of Freedom Squad Director's Circle, a council of experienced heroes who guide Freedom Squad with their wisdom, ponder the nature of evil, and meditate on important matters. While many act as mentors to the other heroes, each member of the Director's Circle approaches the role in their own unique way.
Capt. Lefty commonly socializes with the other heroes, while Mr. Nowhere is more aloof and mysterious. And Grey Turbine, a very independent hero, is famous for �phoning in� his participation with the Circle.
A Director may also take an apprentice from time to time, like Mr. Nowhere is frequent to do. While other Directors, such as the stoic Anomalous, do not. |

The �Heroes� are the true soldiers of the Freedom Squad. They walk the streets of Paragon City daily and keep the peace. But being a Hero is a hard life, and it is a path few can tread. The life of a hero is often one without reward, remorse, or regret. But to those who do make this choice, often they find it was the only choice they could make.
To be a Freedom Squad 'Hero' takes a special kind of superbeing. They must be dedicated to the preservation of peace, possess a strong sense of teamwork, and they must sacrifice their own wellbeing in the pursuit of saving others. It also helps if they pay their membership dues.
Freedom Squad Heroes recieve a Freedom Squad cell phone, a private equipment locker, full use of the coffee machine, and a gift certificate to Capt. Lefty's left handed specialty store "Leftopia." |

A �Partner� of the Freedom Squad is part-time member. This rank is given to either canidates for full membership, or heroes who chose to �freelance�; they join Freedom Squad�s pool of heroes, yet still retain a degree of independence. For a Partner to ascend to the rank of �Hero� they must undergo a series of Trials. (...it�s a multiple-choice questionaire, really) |
