As a council member I WILL NOT run for any other paid political office, other than council/mayor while in office.

If elected I will only receive a personal income of $39,000. from the city, with $10,000. of my prescribed salary being donated to churches and non/not-for profit community organizations in the district, and $5,000. being returned to the city government agency that is choosen by the constituents of district 3.

I will be continually updating this page to help the citizens of San Diego to find out who I am and what I plan to do after I am elected to the 3rd District City Council office.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE FOLLOWING HAVE BEEN
PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE VIA FLYERS SINCE JAN. 1, 1998.

(if they have already been incorporated since my writing them, it is your blessing.)

The S.D. City Budget went from $1.2Billion (approx) in 1995 to $2.2B in fiscal year 2000.

Where is all this money going?
NOT BACK INTO OUR THIRD DISTRICT OLDER NEIGHBORHOODS!

1. REDUCE TAXES, FEES, AND HIGH PENALTIES.

So you can better help your own family and community as YOU see best.

2. EMPOWER CITIZENS with more information and easier access.

3. Make CITY COUNCIL members more ACCOUNTABLE to constituents.

4. Hold the Police accountable for their actions, eliminate parking meters, and stop asset (property) forfeitures.

5. Change CITY LAWS to be MORE EQUAL by economic status.

6. Provide ACCESSIBLE AFFORDABLE TRANSPORTATION alternatives.

7. END THE SALE OF CITY (citizens') PROPERTY to balance the City budget.

8. Provide MORE citizen usable GREEN SPACE on city owned properties.

9. Have all CITY CONTRACTORS, when in service, DISPLAY NOTICE as a city contractor.
