things. Gratitude is altitude. There is always someone a lot worse off than you are. Always. And yes, there is always someone better off than you are. But that's OK because their journey is not over, and neither is yours. Don't be envious of your neighbor, it is wasted energy. Invest your energy in something positive towards yourself or someone else. Do the right thing. But do something. Because doing nothing will only bring you nothing to do. There is no progress in that. As the saying goes: "It's better to have 50% of something than 100% of nothing." Words to live by. Write down your goals. Make a detailed list of all the things you would like to accomplish. Believe in yourself even when nobody else will. Do it your way. Be a leader, not a follower. Get up and enjoy God's beautiful Earth. And remember this: "Life is God's gift to you. How you live your life, is your gift to God." |
