| What Should You do if a Witness comes to your door? |
| I can say from my own personal experience that it is very hard to have very much impact upon a Witness. For, my wife is still one. But if you can plant the seed of truth in a Witness then maybe you can help. In my experience they will not believe what the Bible says. At least this is what they act like. For example where the Bible says that "Jesus is in you" in John 15:4,5, John 17:26, Galatians 1:16, Romans 8:10, Colossians 1:27, and 2 Corintians 13:5. They will rationalize that it says something else. Actually their Bible says "Christ in union with you". So what can we do? Witnesses are programed to resist any doubts about thier organization. One thing they do not have is a personal relationship with God. This is because they are told they can only recieve God through thier organization and are told that God is not inside of them. Even thought the Bible says it very clearly. My point being that you should tell them about your experience with God. This will likely be information that they have never been exposed to. There are no biblical arguments against this because you know what you have experienced. Maybe, praying with them that they may experience God as you have. Good luck. |
