My name is Brian and I'm as upset as the next guy about gun control . I read the letter from the guy in the A.F and agree on every subject he talked about . And I would like to take it one step farther .
The same as he was raised around rifles and pistols I was . Since I can remember guns have always been around me . I was , as well, taught how to fire , tear down , clean and store a firearm .
One of the points he had made was that parents blame television and music . Well I grew up watching the Lone Ranger and Looney Tunes and the Dukes of Hazard and the A-team . But I never even thought of shooting someone . My favorite toys were my guns and sling shots and plastic bow and arrow sets .
I think one big problem is that you can't even resolve your problems with a good old fist fight anymore without going to prison . I haven't been in a fight in years , but if the need ever arrived I don't think I should be put in prison for it . I mean if I'm going to go to prison 36 months I might as well shoot him right ? The problem the way I see it stems from a couple different things . 1 . No way to release your aggression . If you keep it inside it will build up and you will explode . But if you explode it's hello prison .
2 . Our children aren't getting the attention they need today . Mom and Dad are working ect......
3. Lack of punishment . If your aren't afraid of punishment from an early age , then they won't care what they do because they aren't worried about consequence .
And to close this e-mail , I would like to point out my fears of gun control and laws and eventually guns being taken away .
When we lose our rights to bear arms we are no longer a Militia able to defend ourselves from a corrupt government . I will never surrender my arms . And encourage everyone else to never surrender theirs . I am not in any groups or organizations But I am an individual militia with the right to defend myself from corrupt government under the USA constitution .
