I remember this night very well. It came at the end of the Sable/Marc Mero relationship. Already pissed to begin with, he became more enraged at walking into the locker room, only to find her not ready for his match. As he grabbed the shocked siren, he nearly exposed her .38 Specials for the world to see. Humiliated, Sable went along with Mero to ringside, still desperately trying to get dressed, lest the audience see her puppies.
Although scripted, this scene still paints a disturbing portrait of violence and degradation against women. And the fact that Sable would be willing to participate in this type of storyline says alot about her character (or lack of). |
