Canas has had fairly ordinary form on clay this season but everyone what a terrific clay court player he is. Every French Open he manages to reach a decent spot in draw. He is very experiensed and can pull out an upset here. Gaudio is also an experiensed clay courter, his form of late is mixed but he is quite capable of beating some very good players such as Hewitt, Verkerk and Moya all in this season. We expect this match to be very tight and equal but Canas provides the better odds so we are sticking with him.
