We define a high level player as someone that is level 30 or above. That is why we always create our games with Hell difficulty.
While we realize there are a lot of cheaters that pretend to be newbies on battle.net and end up killing newbie players, we don't want to go after them. This is simply because if we did, we would accidentally kill innocent newbies. For this reason, we go after the high level players that are at least level 30 and above. Occassionally, we may accidentally kill an innocent non-cheating player and we apologize to those that get caught in the crossfire, but it's our main interest to kill the cheating players on battle.net. We will not stop until we have killed every cheating player on battle.net. Our "Ear of Fame" is our indication of our confirmed kills. Cheating players don't like us and you'll see that on battle.net. The leader, The Great BoBaFeTT has never been killed. There are a lot of liars you will find on battle.net that say a lot of garbage. Should a player ever kill the Great BoBaFeTT, he will post the player's name that killed him on the main page here. If you never see that post, then you know he's never been killed. The other thing that will happen is that he will no longer kill cheating players, but move on to something else.
What are the requirements for joining The Dark Side?
Well, you need to meet the following:
1. Kill high level cheating players (NOT newbies) for ear collection
2. Know hex editing as a bare minimum (preferrably know Intel
Assembly)
You will be given an extensive test to verify
your knowledge.
3. Share our knowledge with only group members. ie, special codes
are kept in group
4. Don't use cheats unless the other player insists on using them
(usually they do)
5. Be trustworthy to all group members listed on the official group
page. (here)
6. Contribute in some way to the group
7. Not be part of any other Guild, clan or group ever! We don't have
cross guilds.
8. Keep the same name and account number you're identified with on
battle.net
To join, you must gain our trust that you are sincere in our quest for killing high level cheating players. We're not like other guilds that have different quests and things. We only have one quest and that is to kill the high level cheating players. That's all. We will do this at all costs. You may ask "How can we kill cheating players without cheating?" Well, the answer lies deep within the labyrinth my friend! The Dark Side is where you will have the most power in Diablo. With the Dark Side, you have the ability to kill and control players. Only when you join the Dark Side or are killed by it, do you really know it's power!
We will not go to Ultima Online, although you will see some of us on StarCraft when it's available. It is our opinion that Ultima Online is not worth playing. It's DOS based, costs money, and has terrible graphics. Not only that, but the followers are so hard headed, they can't see beyond their loyalty to rumors. The delays in getting UO out shows how organized they are. It was supposed to be out several months ago. We are dedicated to Diablo!
