Should the World Trade Center be Rebuilt?

September 11th, 2001 is a day that all of us will never forget. It was a day that started out to be beautiful and bright, but in the end it turned out to be dark and gloomy. September 11th, 2001 is a day that left all of America crying and weeping over the tragic events that had happened that morning at exactly 8:48 am. After the collapse of the two towers, many people questioned the rebuilding of the World Trade Center. This question shouldn’t even of been asked. The World Trade Center will rise again, do to the fact that it will provide more nationalism, more economic stability, and become a memorial to all the innocent people and heroes lost in the collapse.

As the terrorists of September 11th, 2001 planned the attack on the World Trade Center, they thought that once this attack occurred, Americas nationalism and pride would deteriorate. They were wrong. Once the towers came crashing down to the ground, yes there was a lot of emotions and panic, but in the American heart there was still pride in our country. Yes, these terrorists, might of taken down the two main buildings in the center of our city. But they never took our pride away. What these terrorists did to us made us stronger and a better country. By building the World Trade Centers again, everyone would now know how strong America really is, and how America isn’t going to let an event like that get Americans nationalism and pride down to nothing. By rebuilding the World Trade Centers, America will prove how strong it really is and how strong it will always be.

The Twin Towers was a place that brought many different types of people together every day at work to create the most economical power in the world. Every morning thousands of people with different nationalities and from countries would file into the World Trade Center where they would work together side by side and face to face. The World Trade Center was the home and workplace of many people. After September 11th, many people were left without jobs and without economic stability for themselves and their families. By rebuilding the World Trade Center, many people would gain back the opportunity to work again, and gain the economic stability that they once had, and it would also bring back the joining together of many different types of people.

On that frightful day, many people were lost in the collapse of the World Trade Center, but not only the people that worked in the World Trade Center but the heroes that tried to save the civilians that worked in the building. Many of the heroes that were lost in the collapse of the World Trade Center, weren’t even at work that day. When they heard what was going on, they rushed in and risked their lives to save others. I feel the World Trade Center should be rebuilt because, it will stand as a memorial to all the people that were lost in the collapse. Not only will this memorial bring closure to their families, but will let the rest of the World realize how many people died, and how they were innocent people just like you and me, and everyday firefighters that put their lives at risk for others.

In conclusion, I feel the World Trade Center should be rebulit. Not only will it bring back economic stability to the city as well as families, it will show the nationalism that our great Country still has. And as a memorial, it will show how we love all the people that gave their lives in this time of hatred, even if we didn’t know them.
