I have a deck which is quite awesome. See what you think about it:

This deck focuses heavily on defence and repeating fast attacks and has proved
quite efficient. It won a tourney for me once. Unfortunately there are no
tourneys around any more... :-(
However, it's very vulnerable to Pep Talk and other strong adventures, so I included the Mountain Trolls to defend against Pep Talk at least.
Any suggestions to make it even stronger?

Well Vidar, you have a pretty interesting deck, so lets start.
Characters:
You have Professor Sprout as your only character, but it does not seem to me to go well with your deck. You only have cobra lily to take advantage of her ability, and cobra lily already has more life points than most of your creatures. Lets replace Sprout with Mcgonnogal. She will still provide a lesson power and will get rid of nasty adventures including Pep talk.
Creatures: I think that for the most part Family Ghoul is a waste of paper and ink. It is only 1 lesson less than boa constrictor and it makes one of your creatures go back to your hand, so you have to use an extra action to get that creature back out. So the Ghouls are replaced by Boa. The mountain trolls also will be cut down since it will be hard to get them out and we no longer need them for pep talk. Lets replace with cunning fox which is still 3 damage, but only costs 5. If you find these die too quickly, consider vicious wolf instead. Doxy and streeler are neat, but if your opponent is not playing creatures, which happens a lot to me, they are a waste. I would replace one each with another boa and fox, but thats up to you.
Spells: Halloween feast, Freeze! and Picking on Neville are all great cards and go well with your deck. But I can not see why you wanted avifors in the deck. Its only good if your opponent is playing creatures and only if they are lacking in lessons already. Lost notes are more useful, but still not the best for this deck. Since you are so creature heavy I am pulling the lost notes and replacing them with 4 steelclaw. Any deck with lots of creatures and any transfig needs this card. I'll pull the avifors and replace with 3 Apparate and 1 more lesson.
Items: Guide to Household pests seems to work well with this deck, so I'll keep both.
Lessons: Remove Transfig and replace with CoMC and the extra space from avifors will go to CoMC also. This deck seemed to run a little low on lessons and removing the bigger creatures and adding one more lesson will help with this, but remember, if you happen to get too many lessons, do not to waste actions playing them from your hand unless you know you will be using them.
So this is the completed deck. Remember that these are only suggestions and you can do what you like with the deck since it is your own.
