A Traveller's Guide to Tureded

"The Hills of Isis": a pair of rounded hills with obelisk on the top of each, near the head of a significant valley. One of the scouts on the original survey was a devotee of a revived version of the Egyption religion/pantheon. When he saw from the air a valley that looked somewhat like the outline of a person from the air, he took a closer look and found this pair of hills. He quickly came to the conclusion that this was the resting place (not final of course for an immortal) of the goddess Isis. He came back as one of the early settlers and claimed this valley, which is away from the main settlements of the time. At some later point, he erected obelisks on the tops of the hills dedicated to the goddess. Those living in the valley at the present day are mostly decendents of his, and many are followers of the revived Egyption religion/pantheon. The valley is somewhat small, but very fertile.
