Deck 1 with numbered spaces

1. Hardpoint (shown with double turret)
2. Landing gear
3. Forward cargo lock
4. Forward airlock - used almost exclusively by crew
5. Secure cargo space (used for mail on ships that have a mail contract)
6. Ship's locker - the airlock space to locker includes ladder access to all decks, which is available to the crew only
7. Passenger and cargo loading office - the corridor area includes a passenger lift to all decks, as well as viewports into the cargo area
8. Passenger airlock (a.k.a. port airlock) - used almost exclusively by mid and high passengers
9. Deck 1 cargo space - includes the after cargo lock and the cargo elevator, as well as a variety of tie-down fittings and a ladder access to the deck 2 engine room
10. After airlock - used almost exclusively by low passengers
11. Low berth area
