COMMENTS
The Stuffin class hospital ships are named on variations of the theme for
"putting things in." Some other ships in the class are named Fill, Replace, and
PKZip. This class is lightly armed and armored since they may be called upon
to pick up troops in war zones. The pulse lasers are more commonly used to
open paths in ships that are damaged.

This class has a much better main computer than required by its jump drive,
and uses the extra capacity to aid in medical care. The second bridge is
normally used for coordinating large scale medical emergencies.

The embarked marines are available to guard unruly patients or prisoners. The
marines also have 8 drop capsule tubes available so they can get to planetary
casualties quickly (marines assigned to this class normally have some amount
of medical training).

Four modular cutters fitted for patient transport allow speedy transfer of patients
to the ship. Eight medical bays with operating theaters, doctor offices, and
examination rooms allow speedy help for wounded or ill patients. Extensive
cargo spaces allow for extended voyages.
