the unflushable ball of shit

 

 

i got up

and flushed

but after the water

turned

there was a ball of shit

that didn't go down

 

i flushed again

but there was no

sinking it

 

and how i admired it

and wished i could be like it

and proudly say to the world

 

try as you might

i'm not going down

 

and i picked it out

and put it on the mantle

next to my

worst poet of the year award
