The Oldest Existing Observatory in Canada

On May 11th, 2004 Dr. Edwards was kind enough to give members of the public and the William Brydone Jack Astronomy Club a tour of the oldest observatory in Canada. The William Brydone Jack Observatory. This page is not to give a history of the observatory but to sinply show some of the pictures of the building and equipment that people were able to see and hear about during the tour.

A display of slides that were hand painted. Some even have both sides painted giving a depth effect. As well some have layers of glass to allow for anninmation.
