Next Event: Monthly Meeting April 7th 2009 See our Meetings Page for details.

The William Brydone Jack Unit (formerly the William Brydone Jack Astronomy Club) of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada's New Brunswick Centre meets in Fredericton, New Brunswick monthly and on other dates for observing sessions or special events. A couple times of year we host the main monthly meeting for the New Brunswick Centre.

We are a group of amateur astronomers, teachers, professionals, youth, and anyone who has any interest in the night sky from many walks of life shows how the night sky is loved by a wide range of people. Our meetings are held to discuss astronomy topics as well as to observe the planets, varible and double stars, comets, and deep sky objects. Many of us enjoy observing with our own telescopes but we love to share views of the heavens with others. We welcome all to come and join us and expirence the wonders of our night sky.

All of our events are open to the public and we encourage anyone with an interest in the sky to attend!
