MY POEMS

TRUE FRIEND

I sat down alone in the place

Hoping to see his face

But all I saw was the clay

Which I used to play

My mind persuaded me to sing

Hoping that my friend it will bring

And this led to my song

Which I sand for long

“Where is he” I asked with fright

But got no answer till at night

When he appeared with a smile

And his breath showed he walked a mile

He embraced me

And subtly whispered to me:

“True friend is easy to misplace

But hard to trace.”
