Lan is fed up with losing to Dex in a Net Battle, his friend with a more powerful Net Navi (Gutsman). But when Lan's father sends Lan an upgrade for his PET, Lan's old Net Navi turns into Megaman! Lan's oven catches fire right after Lan gets Megaman fully loaded. Megaman looks weak to Lan but proves him wrong by defeating the oven fire virus. Megaman gets a glimpse of Torchman. After school Lan challanges Dex to a Net Battle. The battle is inturrupted by Roll who says Maylu is in trouble because her oven caught fire. Megaman, Gutsman, and Roll quickly transport to Maylu's oven. Meanwhile Lan is at Maylu's house helping her get out to safety. In the oven Megaman destroys some viruses and fights Torchman. Gutsman trys to help but gets hit so badly that he has to log out. Megaman first uses Blasters (original name Shotgun) and then uses a Cyber Sword to cut off Torchman's arm. Next you see Torchman's owner and Torchman logs out. Maylu get driven in an ambulance and then the episode ends.

While Dex is editing his NetNavi (Gutsman) for another Netbattle against Lan his robot cat attacks him. He is then sent to the hospital to try to get it off. Lan and Maylu rush over to see if Dex is okay. After their visit with Dex, Lan and Maylu go into town. They see their teacher go into an antique shop and follow her. In this antique shop they get their fortune told. Lan's fortune is that there he and Megaman will experience danger. When everyone leaves the shop a robotic dog jumps up and grabs the teacher's purse. Lan and Maylu quickly start chasing it. The robotic dog runs down into the subway and onto a train. Lan and Maylu keep up with it and get onto the train before it leaves. Lan walks over to it and gets the purse with ease. The dog must have had a virus attack it because now its nice and friendly. Something goes wrong with the train and it starts to speed up. A crowd gathers in front of the door to the conductor's area. He has been knocked out. Lan is able to break the glass with a fire extinguisher. Lan and Megaman think of a great idea that goes in action immediately. Lan seperates the two train cars and quickly jumps to the first one. He almost missed the platform but the robotic dog pulls him to safety. Lan then jacks in to help Megaman who is virus busting. Just in time Lan is able to protect Megaman from Elecman with a Barrier battlechip. Fighting tenaciously, Megaman uses Blasters to stun Elecman, and for the final blow cuts off Elecman's electric cannon. Elecman then logs off. The train still speeding over the track, but now Lan can activate the emergency brakes. He is successful and saves the day!

In the beginning we see Yai ride to school in her mega fancy car. She gets there and then the students and her watch a one hour video about Yai (short video)(how exciting). After school Dex and Lan decide to go to Yai's mansion. They see a hole in the fence and decide to go in that way.
