CompuTech
Systems collects various personal information given to us by our customers
during routine business transactions. For instance, we collect data when you
complete a purchase, request a quote, bring a system in for service, and e-mail
or telephone us. Examples of personal data which we collect include:

CompuTech
Systems does not disclose sensitive financial information, such as your
credit card number, to third parties without your consent. Furthermore,
CompuTech Systems will not, under normal circumstances, disclose or sell other
non-financial information, such as your name or address, to third parties
without your consent. However, CompuTech Systems may disclose collected
information in special circumstances, such as required by law, or if we have
obtained permission from the customer prior to disclosure.
All
products are NEW, unless otherwise noted on the receipt. Prices and
specifications are subject to change at any time without notice and are final.
CompuTech Systems is not responsible for any data loss that may occur during
service. Customers are strongly
encouraged to perform a full backup on removable media before service begins on
their system. Additionally, our service department operates on a first come,
first serve basis. As a result, there
is no guarantee as to when a particular system will be completed and ready for
pick up. All products are shipped F.O.B. (Freight On Board) and become the sole
property and responsibility of the purchaser upon delivery to the shipping
agent. For shipping damage, customer should immediately file a claim with the
carrier. Any discrepancy, including wrong or missing items, must be reported,
in writing, to CompuTech Systems within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Payment is due at time of pick up or prior
to shipment and may be made by cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American
Express, business check, money order, cashier/bank check, or traveler check. Personal
checks are not accepted for mail order items. Mail, internet, and telephone
orders, as well as, orders over five thousand dollars ($5,000) may be subject to
additional restrictions. A fee of forty dollars ($40) will be assessed on
all returned checks. Returned checks and delinquent accounts will be turned
over for collection and/or prosecution as appropriate. CompuTech Systems reserves the right to
refuse service. Items left over thirty
(30) days will be charged a twenty dollar ($20) storage fee. Items left over
sixty (60) days become the sole property of CompuTech Systems. Any purchase from CompuTech Systems and/or
signature on the service order, because of our web site on the Internet, is an
acknowledgment that the purchaser has read, reviewed, and agrees to the terms
and conditions listed here, explained on the receipt, or posted in the
store. All brands and product names are
trademarks and/or registered trademarks of their respective holders.
Products
purchased from CompuTech Systems may be returned for a refund, exchange, or
store credit within fifteen (15) days of the original purchase date, unless
otherwise noted on the receipt. The following are exceptions to the return
policy and are not refundable: (a) magazines; (b) software; (c) labor and
assembly charges; and (d) shipping and handling charges. All returned products must be undamaged,
clean (this includes thermal grease and adhesive), and in otherwise new and
sellable condition. All products must include all original materials
(packaging, warranties, cables, accessories, etc) and the original itemized
receipt (a credit card slip or cancelled check are not acceptable substitutes).
With all returns, shipping and insurance must be prepaid by the customer. During this period, non-defective items will
be returned at the lesser of the purchase price or current market value. At its
discretion, CompuTech Systems may accept items for return without all original
materials and charge a restocking fee of fifteen (15) percent. Refunds will be issued a check via mail
within fourteen (14) business days of return. Returns of credit card purchases
will be issued a credit to the account.
CompuTech
Systems provides a limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship
under normal use for one (1) year from the date of original purchase, unless
noted otherwise on the receipt. This warranty is not transferable and does not
extend beyond the original purchaser.
During this period, CompuTech Systems will, at its sole discretion,
repair, replace, or refund the lesser of the purchase price or current market
value of all merchandise which proves to be defective. CompuTech Systems
reserves the right to test items before accepting them for warranty repair or
replacement. A new warranty period shall not be established for any replaced or
repaired product; instead the product shall remain under warranty only to the
extent of, and for the remainder of the period established by the date of the
original purchase. For products where
the warranty is direct with the manufacturer or extends beyond the CompuTech
Systems warranty period, it is the purchaser's responsibility to deal directly
with the manufacturer for any and all repairs or replacements.
This
warranty does not cover: (a) improper or inadequate installation, service,
maintenance, handling or storage; (b) accident, damage, abuse, or misuse
(including over-clocking); (c) abnormal or unusual conditions (including power
surges and adverse weather conditions); (d) plastic surfaces and other exposed
parts that are scratched or damaged; (e) operation with equipment not certified
for use with the item or not supplied by CompuTech Systems; (f) products which
exhibit physical damage or have had the serial number removed or made
illegible; (g) products rented to others; (h) operating systems or any other
software which has been installed or modified; (i) products damaged in transit;
(j) labor and assembly charges; and (k) shipping and handling charges. CompuTech Systems makes no other warranties,
express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
or of merchantability. In no event shall CompuTech Systems liability exceed the
purchase price of the product(s), nor shall CompuTech Systems be liable for
indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including,
without limitation, direct or indirect damages for personal injury; loss of
goodwill, profits or revenue; loss of use of this product or any associated
equipment; cost of substitute equipment; downtime costs; loss of data,
programs, or business information; or any other losses, or claims of any party
dealing with buyers from such damages, resulting from the use of or inability
to use this product or arising from breach of warranty or contract, negligence,
or any other legal theory. All express and implied warranties are limited to
the applicable period set forth above.

product and original materials, complete description of problem(s), and the

This
warranty is void if the product is damaged in transit. Please insure your shipment.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long
an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply
to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights, which vary, from state to state. Any dispute or legal action
arising from a transaction with CompuTech Systems shall be brought and
maintained in the El Paso County or Colorado State court systems, and the
parties (purchaser and seller) consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.
