In March 1999, I discovered that the man I had thought was my maternal grandfather was really my step-grandfather.
I had always planned to research the genealogy of my family. The information that my family history was more complicated than I knew inspired me to start documenting their story immediately.
I have had great success in finding the origins of my paternal family and my step-grandfather's family. However, this has not been the case with my real maternal grandfather and my maternal grandmother.
Hopefully, the following pages will be seen by people who can help me further my research.
I know both my maternal grandmother, Anna BOJARSKI, and my maternal grandfather, Edward William REICHEL, came from Russia-Poland in the early 1890s but I do not know their birthplaces.
