EF 110 KILN


The EF 110 KILN is suitable for enamelling, china painting and many other things e.g. wax burn out.

Whilst it is stored the insulating materials in the kiln absorb a certain amount of moisture. We ask that you therefore first heat the kiln for about 20 minutes while it is empty so that the humidity can escape as the temperature rises. Switch off the kiln and allow it to cool. Repeat this process but this time allow the kiln to come up to full temperature. This should take about 45 minutes. Your kiln is now ready for use.


If you are not using a regulator with your kiln it is important to let it cool down every 3 to 4 hours. This is easily done by either: a) switching off at the mains for 5 minutes or : b.) leaving the door open for 5 minutes. If you do not do either of these things then the temperature will continue to rise and the element will eventually burn out faster than it should.
