My
Testimony It is hard and yet not hard to put
this into words. The task is
finding the right words to express what the Lord has done for me, and why I
continue to live for Him. I believe
He is the truth and He has proven that to me by the very changes in my life and
my desire to live. There was a
point in time when I had no desire to live and I had no joy in my life. I was taught as a child that God existed and that I should
love others and treat them, as I wanted to be treated. But as I grew up I quickly learned
that every one did not live by the principles in the Bible or even believed in
them or God. In my distress, I
called upon the name of the Lord for help, and He heard me. How I know He heard me, because my life changed.
I stopped looking to people and to my husband and began to look unto the
Lord for everything. Everything
changed. ·
My
thought life changed ·
The
way I felt about myself changed ·
How
I began to see others and treat others changed ·
How
I lived ·
I
became a better person and a happier and stronger person.
As
I learned of Jesus, I kept his words and believed them.
I began to obey his word and do them and mixed them with faith believing
they were true and came from God. My
life changed from being lonely with low self-esteem and in despair to joy,
peace, strength, and a newfound hope.
The more I learned about Christ, the
more I learned about myself, and I
learned that I was ok. It doesn’t
matter what anyone could say or think about me because I have come into the
knowledge of the truth and now know who ‘s I am and who I am.
It doesn’t matter who doesn’t accept me, I know that my Father in
heaven does and there is none greater than he.
You cannot tell me anything against
the Lord Jesus Christ; He has proven himself to me. He saved me, healed me, delivered me, strengthened me, and
filled me with his Holy Spirit and knowledge and the understanding of His word.
I am a kept woman and I love it. I
owe Him everything and I have given Him everything I own, my life, my marriage,
my children, my dreams, my desires and my hopes, because I totally believe in
