After landing in Auckland at about noon 45 days ago, i took time to plan what i was gonna do... I finally spent just one night in this big and busy city, escaped from it to a place that have knocked my mind for a while,... Raglan
After a few hours drive by bus, I arrived in a small town which looks like a Western movie town... Met the Locals Charlie and Eric "the Rock" from the Sleeping Lady Lodge, a camp located just above Raglan Spot which is composed actually of 3 points : Indicators Bay, Whale Bay and Manu Bay... So perfect !!!!!!.... But so cold !!!!!.... And a fucken timing to paddle out !
Locals are cool bra... Just pay them respect...and it should be alright... I probably paid double cuz i finally became Surf Instructor at the Raglan Surfing School in exchangeof free accommodation... Sweet as bro...!
Hope seeing Aron, Eric, The Rock, Timac, Glenn, and Cie, from the Camp and the Surf School in Mada next year...! Actually they looked definitely keen on it, as we even called the Travel agency for prices check...!
And how can i forget Patrick, Rosie and my best mate... Zac ? Remember Zac ? You are a P... Naw... And Brooke, Juice and Kristin from Hamilton...? I left friends behind, but others greats moments were expecting me in Wellington with Marty & Kelly and Jade & all his mates... And the Big Big Food of Nannie Tira !!!!
Working as a builder there, i found the fucken way to get my finger caught in the cement mixer. Result, a piece of wire and a plastic nail in my fucken crunched finger... 3 weeks off, and a really good rest at Marty & Kelly's place... Back to new adventures and heavy surf again as i am fying to Fiji tomorrow...
Never complain... Life can brings you joy and great things as shit and misadventures... Take them in the same way... Always find a positive way to make shit chocolate and you will be SWEET... Take care to All of You...
