Novice:

Warp to prt_sewb2 (Culvert level 2), and keep warping until you are by a thief bug egg and not by the bats (they are aggressive.) Kill it, you should be level 50ish, more or less. Up your stats and skill points, and then change to Merchant.
Give yourself about 25 or 30 DEX, and the rest should go into STR/AGI, however you want.

Merchant:

Warp back to prt_sew2. Kill a few Tarous (the little rat guys). You should be in the 70s or 80s after a kill or two or three. Now warp to prt_sewb4 (Culvert, level 4). You should have had on autoloot (@autoloot, if you didn't know...but for me now, it's "@autoloot 100", so you might need to add the 100 at the end), and when you went back to change to Merchant, you should have sold everything for a little Zeny. Hopefully you have Mammonite. Just use it to kill the Male Thief Bugs pretty easily, and the Drainliars. You should be level 99 in no time. If you want, you can just change at a lower level (like in the 80s), since you have to come back as Alchemist to get max job level.
