ever heared of the band 'Ember Swift'? / well i went to see the famous Canadian band for the first time about a year ago at the Northcote social club / i'd heared about Ember Swift from my first gf / the music reminded me of Ani DiFranco crossed with Emma Wall and Bitch'n'Animal and the likes of other female folk artists - i was hooked / a little down the track from my first ever hearing of them i set eyes on a creature in the background - Lyndell Montgomery - this was love at first sigh! / then i saw her in real life up on stage and the smile, tatts and musical talent hit me like a tone of bricks - *sigh* / i'll be seeing them again at the Northcote social club on Fri 6th Jan 2006... |
