When Dominic and Elijah had said �hope to see you soon� they hadn�t for one second expected to have the next encounter with the girls the very same day! This one was slightly more normal, though�
Tamara was lazily walking down the patio to get the girls� letters from the mailbox when a dog came running her way. Having an absolute dog-phobia she stopped dead in her tracks and watched wide-eyed as the animal took a giant leap and jumped against her legs. With a loud, frightened scream Tam tumbled backwards and fell to the ground, the dog immediately trying to lick her face. Suddenly the sound of rushed footsteps filtered in and the dog was pulled away from an almost hyperventilating Tamara. As soon as she realized the coast was clear she slowly opened one eye, only to see a familiar guy towering over her.
�Tamara, are you alright?� Elijah asked while extending his hand to help her up. She took it thankfully, the first thing when she got back on her feet again watching how the dog was chasing a cat down the other side of the street.
�I�m really sorry about this. Me and Dom are only causing trouble.� Elijah continued apologizing but Tam shrugged and mumbled �It�s alright.�
The neighbours stood together in a rather uncomfortable silence when the actor�s face suddenly lit up and he exclaimed �Why don�t you and the other girls come by at my place tonight? Two of our friends are coming by and we�re having some sort of party.�
Tam thought about it for a second, not really sure if it was a good idea, but then nodded. After all the girls were not having any friends in LA just yet and every oportunity to meet new people was more than welcome.
�Alright, see you later then.� Lij smiled before taking off again and trying to catch up with his pet.
�And I still think he�s weird.� Tam muttered to herself before shaking her head and going back inside again, leaving the mail for Daphne�
As soon as Daphne returned from her job (and a very daft play) the girls got dressed and although they would have never admitted it themselves, they did want to impress the guys. They had a small argument on when to go to the lads, not wanting to come across as too eager and neither wanting to seem lazy. In the end they left about 8, when the sun slowly started to disappear behind the branches of some trees.
Even way before they could see the small guesthouse the sounds of laughter and talking reached them and they grinned. The door was opened by Dominic, who looked a lot better than he had earlier that morning, and he smiled at the visitors.
�Hey girls, come on in.�
The house was very small but cosy and, much to Daphne�s disliking, quite a mess. In the middle of the livingroom was a large sofa with a relaxing Elijah on it, joined by another man. Lij grinned and waved when he noticed the female visitors and motioned over to the couch so they�d join him.
�Girls, this is Billy Boyd. He�s our friend and as you probably know he�s got a part in the movie, too. Bill, these are the girls that gave shelter to Dom.�
Billy extended his hand to greet the four young women while Dom fell down on the sofa too and said with a grin �And don�t mind his weird comments and dry sense of humour. After all it�s not his fault he�s Scottish.�
�Oh my, I love Scottish accents.� Jenny squeeled and Dee rolled her eyes and mumbled �Oh please, not again.�
�Anyway, would you lot like a drink?� Elijah asked and right at the moment that everyone wanted to say �yes� the frontdoor opened and a tall, dark-haired lad walked in.
�Hey hobbits!� he shouted happily but then raised an eyebrow as he realized they weren�t alone.
�Girls! Four of �em! My my, young Lij is even more wicked than I thought.� the bloke told himself with an appreciative smile before walking to the first one that was nearest, her back turned towards him. The combination of tall, short skirt and long legs meant the same to him as pretty and he evily slipped an arm around her waist while giving a sloppy kiss to the back of her neck. About 95% of the ladies on planet Earth would even consider selling their parents if it meant getting a kiss by Orlando Bloom. Unfortunately for him however Daphne was an exception. As soon as she felt arms encircling her followed by a kiss she turned around angrily and smacked the man in the face. Orlando jumped back in shock, shaken from the unexpected reaction to his actions. The whole room held its breath until suddenly Tamara burst out in helpless giggles. Within seconds the rest of them followed with an exception of Daphne and Orlando, who were still staring at eachother. The guy moved around uncomfortably, feeling like a huge loser for A; being rejected and B; being hit by a girl. Daphne in the meantime was taking secret satisfaction from his shame and she hissed still pissed off �Dont you ever do that again.�
Orli shook his head, eyes still cast downwards, seemingly inspecting the carpet. With a new rush of adrenaline however he hopped onto Dom�s lap, who stopped laughing right away, and asked �So how are you doing Sblommie?�
�Sblommie?� Tamara grinned and Dom hit himself on the forehead with a groan.
�No please, don�t let me explain it again!�
�I�ll explain! The name�s a cross between�� Orlando volunteered but Dominic placed a hand against his friend�s mouth and stated �Watch it Bloom. Or else you�ll get a second smack.�
Jenny in the meantime was trying her hardest to start a conversation with Billy but she was obviously more than just a little flirting with him.

But before the Scot even had a chance to end his sentence succesfully, Jenny smiled at him dreamily and whispered �You have very pretty eyes.�
�Erm�thanks.� Billy replied while scratching his chin and Jen laid a hand down on his tigh. The man tried to move away but her grip only tightened and she hissed provocantly �Kiss me.�
�What!? No Jenny, come on. I�m too old for ya. You�re what, about 20?�
�Nineteen actually.�
�And I�m 34! Come on, there must be someone of yer own age you can date.�
�Since when is age a problem? You�d date Britney Spears if she�d ask you.�
�No, I wouldn�t!�
Billy looked around the room helplessly, trying to find someone to help him out of the uncomfortable situation. Luckily Daphne had been overhearing the whole conversation and she took Jenny by the arm to pull her towards the kitchen.
�Come on, let�s get some drinks.�
�But Daph..!�
�No buts!�
As soon as the whole Jen/Billy thing had started, Wendy had darted off to the CDplayer, not wanting to be crushed under a fleeing Scot or excited girl. She was rummaging through a stack of CD�s when she felt a hand softly squeeze her shoulder and she looked up to find Elijah standing behind her.
�Hey you.� she smiled, glad to have found a speaking partner again.
�Hey you too. Bored?�
�No, I was just thinking it was time for some music.�
Lij kneeled down next to the girl and nodded.
�I agree. Is there anything you like?�
�Sure, although I�m not too fond of this.� Dee explained while pointing at a Radiohed album before grabbing another disc and holding it up.
�This however is a totally different story.�
The actor grinned when he noticed it was �The machines of God� by the Smashing Pumpkins and without further ado turned it on. (note of the author ; I have nothing against Radiohead fans, it�s just not my cuppa tea.)
�So erm�since you and the other girls are working for the tabloids�are you gonna write about this?� Elijah suddenly asked but Dee shook her head.
�No, of course not. This is free-time, not boring work-time. And besides, I�m only doing fashion reports. Jenny is doing the gossip but even she would never use this in one of her stories.�
The guy sighed, obviously more than just a little glad about her words, and admitted �I wouldn�t want the whole world to find out about the mess in my house.�
Dominic was watching Tamara from his spot on the sofa, taking thoughtful sips from his beer while she joined her mates in the kitchen to fetch a drink.
�Whadda you watching, Dom?� Billy asked with a sly grin and Dominic stuck out his tongue.
�None of your business.�
He looked as Tam suddenly picked up her phone and started smiling, clearly pleased to hear the person on the other end of the line.
�Boyfriend.� Daphne explained who had returned from the kitchen and was now standing right behind the sofa, pointing at the still talking Tam.�Although I have to admit he�s not much a boyfriend to begin with. I don�t like him but it�s her business to pick her lovers, not mine.�
Dom sighed deeply at those words and returned his full attention to his drink, trying to block out Tamara�s voice when she stated �I love you too, baby.�
�Dom, you alright?� Billy asked seeing the sour look on his mate�s face, but Dominic nodded, covering up his disappointment quite well.
�Anyway guys, I think I need to kick ya�ll out. I wanna sleep and really need the couch for that.� Billy announced after having shot one last worried look over at Dom.
�You can stay at my place, Billy-boy.� Orlando replied while affectionately ruffling the older man�s hair, but he shook his head.
�I�d rather not. I actually want to sleep!�
�You can stay at our place. We have enough room anyway.� Daphne suggested and the Scotsman actually considered it for a second until Jenny blew him a kiss.
�Erm no�but thanks. I think the couch will do, though.�
�Fine, then we�re going. Next party will be at our place.� Dee exclaimed while taking Jen by the hand and leading her away from Billy again. She waved one last time at Elijah, who winked and grinned, before half dragging, half pushing her mate from the house.
�Thanks for everything. It was fun.� Daphne added and everyone agreed to that, all knowing that some special bonding had happened that night�
