The day on the beach went on pretty peacefully with the girls and Andre hanging around in the sand and the lads surfing like their lives depended on it. Jenny was finally succesful in starting a conversation with Atti, but things weren�t running smoothly.
�So are you feeling a bit better now?� the blonde asked the German actor, who looked at her in surprise.
�I felt great all along. Why are you asking?�
�Well, Billy said you felt horribly rejected after that guy in the that pub didn�t return your�erm, interest in him.�
Atti pondered that for a moment before shrugging and stating �I don�t feel rejected. There are plenty more people on this planet. Besides, why is Billy interfering in this?�
�I think he was worried about you�� Jenny slowly replied but Andre shook his head.
�I think there�s something more going on. I�ll question him later�or better, I�ll question Lij. He�s not able to keep his mouth shut about stuff anyway.�
�What about Lij?� Dee suddenly cut in, looking up from the huge fantasy book she was reading and fixing her gaze on her two mates.
�Nothing.� Andre exclaimed with an even face but Dee just narrowed her eyes at him and said �Right. I don�t believe you.�
Before a whole new argument could start however, two dripping wet hobbit actors and an Elf came running towards them and the girls looked up in surprise.
�Help! We need help! No, we need a phone! Phone!� Orlando exclaimed while starting to rummage through Daphne�s backpack. The tall girl gave her boyfriend a slap on the hand and demanded �What�s going on? And what the hell are you doing to my bag!?�
�Billy�s gone!� Orli and Elijah explained at the same time and Tamara raised an eyebrow.
�I thought he was with you?�
�He was but he fell down his surfboard and never surfaced again! Dom is trying to find him.� Elijah hurriedly told the rest while restlessly hopping from one foot to another. Dee got up at that right away and said �We need to help him. He might drown if we don�t.�
�Right, Baywatch here we come.� Daphne stated at that while getting up too and running back to the sea with Dee and the lads. And indeed, when they arrived at the shore the only thing to be seen were waves crashing on the sand. The guys surfboards were laying forgotten near them and Sean said while pointing at the raging water �Last time we saw Dom he was over there. He must be floating around here somewhere.�
Miraculously at that moment two figures arose from the water, one pulling something obviously heavy over to the safety of the beach.
�There they are!� Orli yelled and all of them hurried over to the spot covered in the seaweed. Dominic looked pretty exhausted but not as bad as Billy, who was totally out cold.
�Now what should we do?� Elijah asked in one of his more clever moments again and Daphne sighed dramatically.
�You go get some towels to keep him warm. Orli, you go and call an ambulance. Dom and Sean, turn him on his side and keep him like that. He probably drank three waves while being under water and that needs to get out again too. And Dee, help me. He needs CPR.�
�Wha..? Don�t you think you should wait with that sorta thing until�� Orli began but with one don�t-fuck-with-me-now-look from he girlfriend he held his hands up in defeat and left in a rush.
Daphne positioned herself over the Scot�s body, placing two hands on his chest and pushing hard. A small tidal wave surched over his lips and Dee swore.
�Bloody hell, that�s disgusting!�
�Shut up, Dee.� Daph replied not in the mood for foolishness and then asked Dom �Is he breathing already?�
�No, he�s not.�
�Then we have to help him. Close his nose and breath into his mouth.�
�But�I�ve never done that before!�
�So this shall be your first time. Hurry up!�
Dominic looked at his mate, hoping for him to wake up by himself, but he didn�t and Dom placed his lips over Billy�s. Before he even had a chance however to blow into his mouth the Scot jumped up and spat into the sand.
�Jesus Dom! What do you think you�re doing!?�
�You were dying!�
�No, I was not. I was waiting for one of the girls to kiss me. Now you spoiled it again.�
Dom looked pissed at that but Dee placed a hand on his shoulder and softly said �Before you kill him, be glad he�s alive first.�
�Is anything hurting?� Daphne questioned in a doctor�s type of tone, and Billy slowly nodded while holding up his left arm.
�My wrist is.�
�The ambulance is coming so they�ll probably take a look at it.� Sean told his friend while gently placing the aching bodypart in his lap.
Before the words had even left his mouth properly, three guys dressed in white shoved them aside�
Later that evening�
Everyone had followed the ambulance after it had taken Billy to a hospital near by and now they all had gathered in one of the waiting area�s. It was a not so charming sight though with Orli spread lazily over one of the couches, head in Daphne�s lap who was reading again. Sean was staring out of the window. Dominic was walking up and down the room, looking every now and then at the clock on the wall. Lij had fallen asleep leaning against Dee�s shoulder and Andre and Jenny were practically jumping eachother with their flirting.
Dominic finally stopped his annoying pacing and sat down next to Dee with a deep sigh and the younger girl looked at him questioningly.
�Something wrong?�
�Can�t tell. They would notice it.� Dom replied while looking around the room and Dee shrugged.
�You could tell me in German. They don�t understand it anyway.�
Dom considered that for a moment before nodding at the idea and continuing fluently in the other language.
�Er geht mir langsam auf den Nerven.� Dom quietly mumbled at Dee with a slight movement of his hand towards Andre and Jenny, who were still talking and very obviously flirting with eachother.
�Sie ist aber auch nicht viel besser. Hoffentlich warten sie mit alle weitere Sachen bis wir wieder zuhause sind and nicht Alles mitbekommen.� the girl replied just as gently.
�Ich weiss was du meinst. Ich würde es auch nicht gerne sehen wenn sie hier etwas ungehörtes machen. Die Pfleger würden uns hier sicherlich rausschmeissen, mit oder ohne Billy.�
Unfortunately for them however Lij choose that moment to wake up and he immediately demanded �What the hell are you talking about? Was that German?�
�Yes, it was German and if we�d wanted you to know about our conversation, we would have held it in English.� Dom shot back with a roll of his eyes and Elijah looked pissed. He hated it to being kept out of things, especially if it were secrets, and even more so if it was a secret conversation being held between his best mate and his girlfriend.
�It wasn�t about you, baby. Don�t worry.� Dee assured him however and Lij smiled and kissed her soundly on the lips. For Dom that seriously was the last drop, but before he could start a three hour tirade the door opened and a doctor appeared in front of them.
�How�s Billy?� he asked gently instead and the man smiled carefully.
�He is fine. He does have a broken wrist however, which we had to plaster. But the fracture will heal nicely and in a few weeks time he will be back to normal. If you want you can pick him up to take home with you. He might be still a bit confused and tired from the aneastatic but that will pass.�
He wasn�t able to say more though cuz nine people were rushing past him towards the room were the treatments were taking place. Billy was sitting on a special table, his one arm in a sling. He looked up as soon as all his mates walked in and smiled happily.
�Hey all.� he chirped while waving enthusiastically before bursting out in laughter. Dominic eyed him suspiciously and gently asked �Bill, are you okay mate?�
�I�m dandy. You on the other hand look like shit.�
�Well, you had us worried sick.� Sean cut in while helping Billy off the table and surporting his weight, shooting a warning glance at a nearly boiling Dom. The Scot just laughed at that again and exclaimed �You are funny. Who are you anyway though?�
Sean stared back in confusion and softly replied �Sean. You remember me, don�t you?�
�You are Sean? Hmm, you have changed pretty dramatically then.�
Nine people shared uncomfortable looks with eachother and Orli stepped forward.
�Come on Bill. Let�s go home.�
�Good. These pink and purple walls make me sick.�
New worried glances cuz the walls had no other colour than the normal hospital-white. Dom had had enough then and he went looking for a doctor. Within seconds he came back again, a scowl on his face.
�They say it�s a reaction to the painkillers. With other words: he�s as high as a kite.�
�Wow, so I must break my arm soon too then.� Elijah stated strangely happy and Dee shot him a glance.
�Sorry. I�m only joking.�
�When will he return to normal again?� Sean questioned Dom, who gave a shrug and explained �Hopefully by morning. Until then��
He paused a moment to see Billy walking over to Atti, wrapping his arms around his waist and exclaiming �I love you Atti. Wanna leave together?�
�Until then we�d better tie him up.�
�And make sure he keeps his mouth shut.� Orlando added with a nod of agreement.
It took the nine friends a little over half an hour to actually leave the hospital safely. First Billy wanted to stay the night at the playing-corner for kids, having fun with Atti and a few Barbie dolls. Then the Scot demanded a can of coke and some fries and when they had finally gotten him in Dom�s car he wanted to stand on his seat and peek his head out of the sunroof while driving. In the end they just tied him up in the back with two seatbelts.
Needless to say, Billy�s �highness� meant another long, long, long night for the LA based weirdo�s. A very long and interesting night�
The translation to the German parts in this chapter :
Dom : He�s slowly driving me insane.
Dee : She�s not doing much better either. I hope they�ll wait with the rest of the stuff they�re about to do until we�re back at home again, where we�re not able to notice it.
Dom : I know what you mean. I wouldn�t like to see them doing something naughty here either. The nurses would surely throw us out of here, with or without Billy.
