It turned out that my bathin suit was actually in the laundry room. I had forgotten it the last time I came out. Last time wasnt this much fun though, cause dad and mum came too, and they didnt wanna go to the set. Oh well, they were the ones missin out now!
Merry did end up findin Uncle Billy; unfortunately Uncle Billy was on the toilet at the time. Merry had at least let him finish though, before barging into the bathroom. From what he said, it was only to spare me from a horrible sight that we wait. I was thankful too; I really didnt want to go in there when Uncle Billy was busy.
Merry went to the kitchen to grab some left over breakfast while Uncle Bobo got me my bathin suit. He said to put it on and put my normal clothes on top, so that I didnt have to change in the car. I decided he was right. Uncle Billys always right.
When I was done, I inspected my bathin suit in the mirror. It was the colour of a turtle, but I didnt mind. I thought the green made me look like a hobbit. Haw-bit. Haw-bit. My Uncle Bobo was so lucky!
I skipped down the hall back to the kitchen and caught Merry with his head stuck in the fridgerator. I sighed, wondering why he ate so much. Last night, he ate his plate, then kept stealin food off mine! I didnt mind though, he ate Elijahs coleslaw. He must have been pretty hungry.
Merrys head popped up, and he jumped a bit when he saw me standin there. He backed away from the fridge and I saw a plate in his hand, mounded with food, from this mornin AND last night! He grinned at my astonished face. What? he asked.
How much do you eat Merry? I cried, not taking my eyes off the plate.
Im a growing man. He replied, matter-of-factly.
But youre too old to still be growin. I argued, knowin he was just a hog of Uncle Bobos good cookin.
Merry shrugged and sat down at the table. He promptly began eating everything on the plate, while I sighed and went in search of Uncle Billy. Werent you not supposed to eat before you go swimmin? Was Merry really tryin to hurt himself?
Oh well. Thats his fault. A good thing though, is that I could get Merry to try out my second breakfast idea. Yeah! Hed like that!
I found Uncle Billy in the livin room with his water suit and his beach bag with him. I liked his beach bag, cause he always had neat stuff in there. One time, I had found a bag of crisps in there! A whole bag!
I licked my lips at the thought of the snack, and was about to dive into the beach bag, lookin for more when Uncle Billy came through the front door.
Are you all changed Alex? he asked.
I nodded, eying the bag.
Great, then we can get a move on. Wheres Dom?
I broke my gaze away from the bag; I turned my attention to Bobo. Who?
He sighed. Merry. Merrys real name is Dominic. So where is he?
Oh! Merry is Dom. I liked the name Merry better though.
In the kitchen. Hes eatin all the leftovers. I grinned.
Of course he is! Uncle Billy said, throwing his hands in the air and leaving the room, in search of Merry. A few seconds later, they were back, my Uncle Bobo leading Merry by the ear.
I burst into a fit of giggles at Merrys expression! His cheeks were puffed out cause of food in there, and he had a look of pure pain on his face! His whole face had turned bright red and right then, I knew Merry would fit perfectly into the circus! He could be a clown!
Uncle Billy through Merry out the front door, then came back and picked up his beach bag. You ready kiddo? he asked.
I nodded as he took my hand and lead me out to Merrys car.
We all got in with Merry in the driving seat, while I was on Uncle Billys lap in the passenger seat. It was a fun ride as I listened to Uncle Billy and Merry talkin about lots of things about the set and stuff. I learned that Orlie liked to jump off of things a lot. Id have to talk to him about this; he could get hurt!
We were in the car for a while, and my butt was hurtin. My Uncles lap can only be comfy for so long, then it just hurts. Luckily we just arrived at the beach. It looked kinda deserted, except for a few figures down by the water. I wondered if that was Orlie.
Uncle Billy popped the door open and set me on the ground. I groaned as I felt the pain of straightening my legs and made a mental note of never doin that again, even if it was really fun.
I got to carry Uncle Billys beach bag down to where the figures were, while Uncle Bobo and Merry carried their surfboards. Those things looked so heavy!
I stepped onto the sand and reminded myself to clean out my shoes before I put them back on. I hated the feeling of sand in my shoes; it was very annoying. I decided then that I would put sand in Merrys shoes later on. I dont think he would mind.
As the three of us got to the figures, I spotted Orlie right away and promptly jumped on his back, wrestling him to the ground. I won, of course, but I guess it helped that he was lying down already.
I climbed on his stomach and grinned down at him. He just looked at me with his eyebrows raised. Can I help you? he asked.
Yup! I need to know why Merry likes kissing guys. I stated.
At that moment, everyone went silent. Orlie just stared at me bewildered, Merry grinned his big grin, Uncle Billy turned bright red Mr. Bean had his mouth hangin open, and this lady who I didnt know just stared at Merry.
This confused me. Usually these people couldnt be quiet, but now? I had to do somethin about it.
Orlie? Anybody? I asked.
What a strange question. I heard Mr. Bean mutter to himself, but he looked thoughtful.
Well Dom? the lady asked.
Merry grinned even wider, which I didnt even know was possible for him, but he did. Nothing much Liv, just testing the waters with my good friend Bobo here.
What happened next shocked me. Uncle Billy blinked once, then twice, then turned to Merry and smacked him on the back of the head. That was out secret you idiot!
Merrys jaw dropped, as everyone burst out laughing, even Uncle Billy. I didnt know what was so funny. These people were weird, almost as weird as Merry himself! I looked down at Orlie, who was in a fit of giggles. Of course, this made sitting on him hard, and I fell off of him, landing on my rump. Again. And it was all Merrys fault.
Anyways, lets go surfing! Uncle Billy called out. This seemed to signal everyone. Orlie sprang to his feet and chased after Uncle Billy and Merry, down the beach and into the water. I could see waves and I grinned, remembering the last time I went surfin with Uncle Billy. I liked it when he fell because I got to laugh at him.
Boys will be boys. I heard the lady sigh. She turned to me and smiled. You must be Alex. She said, sticking out her hand.
Oh boy! Another handshake!
I nodded enthusiastically, shaking her hand.
Im Liv. You can call me Liv. She smiled.
She was very pretty and I liked her smile. I wondered how she fit in with the hobbits. As if she was magic, she answered my question without me even having to ask it!
I play an elf princess named Arwen in the movie. She explained, helping me roll out Uncle Billys towel. I also play Viggos girlfriend.
Ew. More kissing. Merry had already scared me for life from the episode this morning, I didnt need to think about Liv and Viggo the scary guy who was really sick this mornin.
Viggo didnt look good at breakfast. I told her.
Mr. Bean chuckled. Of course he wouldnt Alex. He smirked. Turning to Liv, Mr. Bean sighed. The poor man just doesnt know how to hold these things.
Oh, and you do? she retorted. I guess there was somewhat of a loyalty thing between her and Viggo, just like Uncle Billy and me!
Mr. Bean laughed. I sure do!
I had no idea what they were talking about, so I decided it would be a good time to look through Uncle Billys beach bag. Liv and Mr. Bean got into a discussion about vegetables, which I thought was kinda dumb. Oh well, Uncle Billys bag need to be explored, and I was up for the challenge!
