Remember when I told you about that dream? You know, the one with the big chocolate chip cookie? Well, this was even better then that. My little package of cookies were the bestest cookies ever. They were so good in fact, that Merry AND Orlie bother tried to steal them. Luckily, I have friends. Big friends. Mr. Bean was on them like like a dog on a cat! Some how he managed to get Orlie around the throat and Merry by the ear and tackle them both to the ground. Liv was in hysterics, as I looked on bewildered at the scene in front of me. They just tried to take my cookies! How rude.
Owowowow! Not the ear Bor, please! Bobo already got me this mornin. Merry squealed with pain, the same squished look from earlier, back on his face now. Orlie on the other hand, was really worse off. He being sat on by Mr. Bean and then Uncle Billy jumped on him too!
This is for picking on my favorite niece. He grunted, landing with a thud on Orlies stomach. Orlie groaned, releasing one hand from Mr. Beans arm and holding his stomach. And this Uncle Bobo continued, grabbing Merrys other ear, making Merry howl with even more pain, is for not learning from eating all my food this morning.
I shook my head. Shame on Merry and Orlie, I told you I had big friends.
Boys Liv sighed, taking a seat beside me. I grinned and offered her a cookie. She gladly accepted and gracefully took one from my package. I watched as she taunted Merry and Orlie with it, taking small bites and making noises that sounded like she liked my cookie. Orlie sighed heavily and Merry groaned.
And I wanted you to come pubbin tonight. Merry said, looking at me with a pleading face. My eyes widened. I wanted to go, there would be treasure!
Well I started, tryin to decide what I wanted more, cookies or pop. Uncle Billy however, answered my question for me. Oh no you dont Dom, you arent bribing her with something she cant do. What?
Shes not going pubbin especially not with the likes of you badger boy. Mr. Bean added. No! I wanted to go! I really, really did!
Well, Im sorry to bring this up Billy-Bob, but whos going to watch her while were out in Auckland? Orlie questioned, glancing over at me. There was silence for a moment as everyone looked at my Uncle. His brow was furrowed in thought. After a moment, he got an idea. Keely. He stated.
Keely? everyone, including me, asked at the exact same time. I giggled insanely about this, speaking all at once sounds funny. Uncle Billy nodded.
The same Keely that wants to... well, you know... Merry started, glancing at me, seeming a little embarrassed, Have... fun, with Orlie and I? Why are you punishing poor Alex like this mate? What did she ever do to you? Orlie asked. I was confused. Who was Keely? Why didnt Merry and Orlie like her? Why was she even being brought up? Why couldnt I go to the pub in that place that Orlie said? Why am I asking myself all these questions? Mr. Bean seemed to notice my confused state, and smiled understandingly. Keely, my dear, is what we actors of The Lord of the Rings movie, affectionately call a fan girl. he said, as if a fan girl was some sort of disease. I hoped I never was one, considering the look of pure horror on Merrys face.
Now, now. Uncle Billy hushed them, Keely is a neighbour and a wonderful girl guys. She just gets a little star struck when you two and Elijah show up. Thats all. Shes a very pleasant girl actually.
Shes the devil. You know how they say he walks the earth in the one disguise that will fool everyone? I bet its her. Merry whispered looking around like he thought somethin was after him. This scared me. A lot. Why was Uncle Bobo making me be baby-sitted by a devil fan girl? What did I do to deserve this?
Bite your tongue Dom. Liv scolded, putting her arm around my shoulders, Youre scaring the living daylights out of her! Merrys expression softened and he looked apologetic. Im sorry runt, I didnt mean to frighten you.
See? I know how to read people. I told you he was apologetic. Uncle Billy kicked Merry very hard in the side. Dont be a git. he snapped. Uh oh. Uncle Billy was mad... again. Luckily, it wasnt at me this time.
Geeze, ow! I said I was sorry! Merry growled, glaring up at Uncle Billy. Orlie quickly scrambled over to sit beside me and Mr. Bean backed away very slowly from Merry. What was going on? Merry looked defensive, as if preparing for somethin, while Uncle Billy looked very angry, his face twisted and his eyes like ice. Somethin had to be done! I really didnt like what was goin on. Merry rose to his feet, not taking his glare off of Uncle Billy. I was still surprised that Uncle Billy was still staring Merry down, considerin Merry was a lot taller then him. Thats it. I couldnt take it anymore. I stood quickly and walked over to Uncle Billy, almost trippin over Orlies hands as he scrambled to pull me back. Oh no, Uncle Billy had always said nothin can be solved by fightin... and Merry did apologize, even though I really wasnt that scared... honest! Uncle Bobo was still glarin at Merry when I tugged on his arm. His ice- cold gaze turning from Merry, down to me. Yikes! I was surprised that Merry didnt back down from such a scary look, especially from Bobo! I gulped and Uncle Billys face softened.
I wasnt scared Uncle Bobo, I promise. Youre scarin me now though! I told him, lookin him right in the eyes. He sighed and hung his head, ashamed.
Bloody hell. he muttered and my hands flew to my mouth. He just swore! What came over me? he asked himself in a low voice. I saw Merry lower his fists, his face softening from its glare. Billy... Merry started.
Im sorry Dom, I have no idea what came over me. Geeze, Im not like this. Bobo continued, runnin his hand through his hair. Merry stepped forward, puttin his arm around Uncle Billys shoulders. No worries mate. Merry smiled slightly, You were just protecting Alex, its allowed. Besides, I was out of line.
Billy nodded. Yeah well, me too. Uncle Bobo then looked down at me and smiled. Sorry kiddo.
I grinned shaking my head. No worries mate. I repeated what Merry had just said. Merrys cool. Everyone laughed at this, includin Uncle Billy and I smiled, glad all the tension was gone. That sure was scary! Orlie hopped to his feet, a smile as big as anythin on his face. Great! Now that thats settled, we can all go to the pub! he paused for a moment, looking at Uncle Billy. Just... can Lig, Dom, and I meet you guys there?
The sound of laughter rang out, as I looked on, very confused and very worried about my babysitter. From what the guys had said, Keely sounded dangerous... being a devil fan girl and all. What a great night this would be... hear the sarcasm?
