"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." An American Indian proverb. We have but one Earth and we have overrun it With all the technological advancements, we have yet to discover another life sustaining planet. This is all we have and we thank it for giving us life by raping it of it's resources and replacing them with our garbage. We as a species have already populated a vast majority of the planet and still we press for more. How long until it has nothing left to give? In our children's lifetime? In our children's children's lifetime? The most intelligent species on the planet?!?!?!?!? How many other species on earth live to destroy what sustains them? |
