David says that he didn't have a bad childhood. He got his first drumset when he was 13. David likes jamming with other people instead of being alone. Some discribe David as the shy member of the band. In the past David has played with Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. Once L.A.P.D. fell apart, David worked at Pizza Hut. David's favorite song from Follow the Leader is B.B.K. because he likes the groove of the song. David thinks that doing drugs will hurt a band's chance of success. David had done an add for Calvin Klien. David's wife Shannon had the couple's first baby, David Jr. on August 22, 1997. She had their seccond Sophia Aurora, on July 27, 1999. David had surgury to remove an extra rib which was causing nerve problems in his arm and wrist for a few years. He had to drop two tours because he couldn't use his wrist. He is back for Untouchables and hopefully will be good this time around.
